Which wines do we buy?
We are interested in many wine and champagne rarities from all over the world. We are particularly interested in the following regions and their wines:
BORDEAUX
We're looking for all Grand Cru wines from Bordeaux. Latour, Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, Margaux, Haut Brion, Cheval Blanc, and Chateau d'Yquem, as well as Palmer, Pichon-Longueville-Baron, Pichon-Longueville-Comtesse de Lalande, Cos d'Estournel, and Montrose are particularly interesting to us. Of course, we're also interested in the great wines from Pomerol, such as Petrus, Lafleur, and Le Pin.
BURGUNDY
We are always looking for the great wines from Burgundy such as Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Domaine Leroy, Armand Rousseau, Coche Dury, Domaine Leflaive, Meo Camuzet, Roumier, Liger-Belair, Ponsot, Rene Engel but also Raveneau, Prieure Roch and all other rare and limited wines from the great producers.
OTHER FRENCH WINES
Of course, we are also interested in many other French wines - the great wines from the Rhône such as E. Guigal, JL Chave, Chateau Rayas, wines from Languedoc-Roussillon, Loire, Alsace, Jura or Provence.
CHAMPAGNE
We are also happy to buy your champagne rarities - e.g. Krug Champagne, Dom Perignon, Selosse Champagne, Salon, but also all the smaller, rare, great winemaker champagnes!
PIEDMONT
The large and sought-after producers from Piedmont are also of great interest to us: Bruno Giacosa, Bartolo Mascarello, Giuseppe Rinaldi, Giacomo Conterno, Burlotto, Gaja and Vietti, to name just a few of the big names.
TUSCANY & OTHER ITALY
We are also always looking for the great wines from Tuscany such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Flaccianello, but also wines from Bertani, Giuseppe Quintarelli, Romano dal Forno, Il Poggione or Soldera.
GERMANY
German wines are also of interest to us - at the forefront, of course, are the wines from Weingut Klaus Peter Keller, Egon Müller, Georg Breuer, Dönnhoff, Dr. Bürklin-Wolf, Julian Haart and Wittmann.
OLD & NEW WORLD
We are also very interested in the great Spanish wines such as Vega Sicilia or Pingus, Australians such as Penfolds, Austrian and Swiss wines such as FX Pichler, Heinrich, Gantenbein, Donatsch or Studdach and of course the great wines from the USA such as Sine Qua non, Harlan Estate, Screaming Eagle!
Let us assess your wines free of charge and without obligation - we look forward to making you an offer!
WINE PURCHASE
We purchase wines from high-quality, reputable, and well-stocked wine cellars, both from private and institutional collections. We primarily seek out great, exclusive wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, and Tuscany, but also all other high-quality wines from all over the world, in all price ranges.
We only purchase wines that are at least in good condition, commensurate with their age. A flawless, verifiable provenance of the wines makes our work easier and allows us to offer you a better deal.
Reasons for selling wine
High-quality wine stocks from well-stored wine cellars often represent considerable capital today. The wine market has grown enormously over the past few years, and many rarities from top wineries now fetch extreme prices on the secondary market.
We want to help you achieve fair and market-driven prices. Our offers are transparently based on current world market prices and current demand.
Selling to us means you get a reliably calculable value – unlike selling wine through auction houses, for example. For individual bottles, we pay immediately upon receipt, or for larger quantities, we pay locally upon pickup.
FREE & NON-BINDING
We will value your wines for you free of charge and without obligation - contact us now!
...because every bottle of wine almost always tells a personal story!
We know that buying and selling wine is much more than just a "trade." Every bottle often contains emotions, stories, and experiences. Wine is more than a luxury item; wine is history; wine tells stories!
We value these values, enjoy the stories and experiences shared, and consider ourselves fortunate to have loyal customers, especially for larger wine packages and special bottles, who also value all the stories and emotions and appreciate buying wines from sources where the wines have written a story.
Trust is based on values and understanding. Of course, we trade these wines, but fair, trusting relationships with our customers, both on the buyer and buyer side, are far more valuable to us than a few percent of profit. Because, as the saying goes, "You always meet twice in life!" And we would be delighted if you would like to meet us again!
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WINE PURCHASE
We only purchase wines from good, professional storage that are of interest to our portfolio. This includes great wines such as Petrus, Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Chateau Lafite, etc., in Burgundy, Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Domaine Armand Rousseau, Domaine Leroy, etc., great Italian wines such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Bruno Giacosa, etc., as well as "smaller" wines from all over the world.
However, we only purchase wines that are in at least good condition, appropriate to their age, and whose authenticity is beyond doubt.
However, we are always happy to receive any purchase request, even if some wines may not ultimately fit into our range.
Our offers are based on current, actual world market prices in the secondary market. We also use current auction results as a benchmark to determine a base price. The condition of the bottle (label, capsule, fill level, color) is also important for determining the price. Especially for high-priced wines, comprehensive and verifiable documentation of the bottle's origin can also have a positive impact on the asking price.
For small quantities or individual bottles, you only have to pay the shipping costs for the bottles to us, or if we take care of the shipping, we will already include the shipping costs in our quote.
If you need packaging material, we'll be happy to send it to you. The cost will be credited directly to the purchase price.
Simply send small quantities or individual bottles to us securely packaged by mail. For larger quantities, wine cellar clearances, or particularly valuable bottles, we'll be happy to collect them personally from you. In these cases, you don't have to worry about anything else.
Wines that you send us are usually checked by us on the same day of receipt and, if there are no complaints, payment will be made immediately upon receipt, but no later than within 5 working days of receipt of the wines.
If you pick up the wines in person, we will pay on site via real-time/express transfer or in cash upon collection of the wines.
We pay for purchases via bank transfer to your account. For smaller amounts, we are also happy to accept payment via PayPal (Friends & Acquaintances), provided your PayPal account accepts such payments.
If you pick up the wines in person, we will pay on site via real-time/express transfer or cash.
Yes, you will receive a purchase contract for all wines purchased.
No. Once the wines are transferred into our possession, you are no longer liable for the wines sold to us, provided they were verifiably in your possession and were not stolen goods or similar. We assume no liability for any defects not identified by us.
However, if the bottles purchased are counterfeit, you are obligated to refund the purchase price in full if the counterfeit is proven to be counterfeit. The deadline for doing so is one year from the date of purchase.
