André Clouet Champagne Rosé comes from a renowned grower Champagne house in the Montagne de Reims and represents the house's commitment to quality from its own vineyards. This rosé cuvée is vinified from carefully selected grape varieties from the region’s vineyards and develops its characteristic color through the controlled maceration of Pinot Noir grapes. The Champagne combines traditional production methods with the character of a house focused on precise, expressive Champagnes.

On the palate, it reveals an elegant rosé with a fine perlage and a light pink to coral hue. The nose displays notes of red berries, strawberry, and grapefruit with delicate floral undertones. On the palate, the Champagne presents a good structure, balanced acidity, and a dry profile complemented by subtle brioche nuances and mineral components. The balance between fruit and minerality makes it exceptionally drinkable.

This Champagne unfolds its full spectrum at a serving temperature of approximately 6-8°C and remains accessible in the coming years, maintaining its fruity profile throughout its medium-term aging potential. Ideal as an aperitif or with light appetizers, oysters, seafood, and light poultry.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
