While many large houses rely on massive pressing, the winery opts for longer contact times between grape skins and juice, as well as multi-year aging in neutral Slavonian oak barrels. This avoidance of intense oak influence preserves the pure expression of the calcareous sandstone subsoil and promotes remarkable structural transparency. The 2013 vintage was characterized by mild summer days and cool night temperatures, resulting in a restrained elegance that emphasizes a clear red fruit profile and lively acidity rather than heavy extract.

On the nose, aromas of wild strawberries, dried rose petals, licorice, and a subtle hint of subterranean moss unfold. On the palate, a fine-grained tannic structure supports the medium body, while the linear acidity ensures a clean and persistent finish.
