Château Canon-la-Gaffelière 2015 This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru combines a high proportion of Merlot with precise Cabernet Franc accents, grown directly on the characteristic slate and limestone marl slopes of this historic estate. The winery has been among the outstanding sites since the second classification and traditionally relies on manual grape selection and thermoregulated vinification. The 2015 vintage in particular benefited from a warm summer followed by abundant late rainfall, resulting in a dense, concentrated fruit profile with a balanced acid structure.
In tasting, ripe black cherry, plum compote, and subtle cedar notes are evident, accompanied by a velvety tannin structure that adds volume to the body without overwhelming it. The finish lingers significantly with peppermint and roasted nuts. For full enjoyment, the wine will open up reliably between 2024 and 2035. This elegant complexity is best paired with slowly pan-fried lamb loin steaks, aged Mimolette cheese, or wild game-based sauces. Serving it slightly chilled will ideally highlight its fine mineral depth.

Shipping information
Unless otherwise stated, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 2-3 business days within Germany and approximately 3-5 business days within the EU.
We pack the wines in UPS-licensed shipping boxes according to UPS packaging specifications.
Please note that in extreme temperatures that could affect the quality of the wine, we will only ship it upon your express request. Otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipment is possible.
Returns & Revocation
Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.
You must organize the return shipment yourself and also cover the return shipping costs and adequate shipping insurance.
