Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape 2016 represents the high-quality winemaking culture of the southern Rhône, characterized by specific gravelly soil structures. The winery maintains a historically sound blend of up to thirteen grape varieties, with Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah forming the aromatic backbone. Expert authorities classify the 2016 vintage as structurally outstanding, as it intelligently combines precise acid compacts with concentrated fruit ink and guarantees significant aging potential.
The tasting note reveals a full, velvety mouthfeel with clear notes of Morello cherries, wild thyme, and a mineral base. Integrated tannins elegantly frame the fruit and provide the necessary grip. Oenological forecasts set the optimal drinking maturity between 2024 and 2031, after which the tannin components will fully soften and fully develop their multi-layered harmony.
For suitable culinary pairings, this red wine is excellent with traditionally braised lamb, hearty game dishes, or mature mountain cheeses. The protein-rich ingredients effectively buffer the tannin structure and long-term support the spice depth of the wine.

Shipping information
Unless otherwise stated, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 2-3 business days within Germany and approximately 3-5 business days within the EU.
We pack the wines in UPS-licensed shipping boxes according to UPS packaging specifications.
Please note that in extreme temperatures that could affect the quality of the wine, we will only ship it upon your express request. Otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipment is possible.
Returns & Revocation
Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.
You must organize the return shipment yourself and also cover the return shipping costs and adequate shipping insurance.
