Chateau Du Tertre Chateau Du Tertre 2009 presents itself as a Bordeaux wine from a defining vintage. The winery combines tradition with modern care: clear structure, ripe fruit and fine woody notes that give the wine depth without disturbing its balance. This characteristic makes the wine attractive for collectors and connoisseurs looking for a reliable profile.

On the palate, notes of blackcurrant, plum and a subtle smoky note unfold. The wine shows fine tannins, well-integrated acidity and a medium to long freshness that gives length to the finish. The texture appears polished without losing tension, which underlines its aging potential.

Food pairing recommendation: Serve with grilled beef steak, lamb dishes or aged cheese; as a crowning finish, dark chocolate, which elegantly rounds off the fruit and wood nuances.

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
