Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2016 is a Pauillac from the renowned Grand Puy Lacoste estate, classified as a Grand Cru Classé en 1855 (fifth growth). The 2016 vintage showcases the characteristic elegance and depth of this established château, which grows its vines in prime Pauillac locations. This red wine presents itself with concentrated notes of black berries, a distinct mineral structure, and fine tannins that define the profile of this classic Bordeaux wine. Its complexity develops gradually, revealing nuances of graphite, dark plum jam, and subtle hints of oak.
The robust tannin structure and balanced acidity of the 2016 vintage allow for medium- to long-term cellar potential. While the wine can be enjoyed now, it will reach its full potential between 2024 and 2035, as the aromas further integrate and its complexity increases. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red with a velvety texture.
This Pauillac pairs excellently with grilled beef, lamb, or game with rich reductions. It also develops its elegance optimally when served with mature cheeses and classic French dishes.

Shipping information
Unless otherwise specified, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 5–8 business days within Germany and approximately 5–10 business days within the EU.
For logistical reasons, we ship once a week, on Tuesdays.
We pack the wines in UPS-certified shipping cartons in accordance with UPS packaging guidelines.
Please note that in the event of extreme temperatures that could compromise wine quality, we will only ship the wines at your express request; otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipping is possible.
Returns & Revocation
Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.
You must organize the return shipment yourself and also cover the return shipping costs and adequate shipping insurance.
