Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1966 is a legendary Bordeaux known for its exceptional elegance and depth. Château Lafite Rothschild, one of the most prestigious wineries in the Médoc, has been producing wines of the highest quality for centuries. The 1966 vintage is distinguished by its perfect balance of fruit, tannin, and complexity, making it a true treasure for collectors and connoisseurs. Combining classic refinement with a captivating minerality typical of Lafite, this wine is an impressive representative of French wine tradition.

The tasting note for this vintage describes a harmonious wine with persistent aromas of ripe black currants, cedarwood, and a subtle spiciness. LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
