Chateau Leoville Las Cases 1994 is an exceptional Bordeaux wine from one of the most respected wineries in the Saint-Julien-Médoc. The 1994 vintage is characterized by a balanced climate, lending this bottle its depth and complexity. The winery, known for its outstanding balance between elegance and structure, has set standards in the Bordeaux region for decades. The 1994 vintage offers a fascinating blend of fruit, tannin, and a fine mineral note that makes this wine a truly delightful experience.

The tasting reveals a complex bouquet of black berries, cherries, and subtle toasted notes, complemented by subtle hints of tobacco and spices. The wine displays an elegant structure with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness, indicating excellent ageing potential. Optimal drinking maturity currently ranges from 2024 to 2035, making this vintage an ideal moment for enjoyment.

For a harmonious tasting experience, we recommend this Chateau Leoville Las Cases 1994 as an accompaniment to grilled beef, game dishes, or mature cheeses. Let yourself be seduced by its complexity and enjoy a true piece of Bordeaux excellence. Contact us with any questions – we will be happy to advise you on your perfect wine pairing.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
