Château Mouton Rothschild 1995 offers you the distinctive side of a great Pauillac: powerful, profound, and already imbued with classic maturity. The renowned Château Mouton Rothschild is one of Bordeaux's leading wine estates and is particularly distinguished as a Premier Cru Classé. The 1995 vintage combines the concentrated structure of a long-lived Bordeaux with the first elegant aromas of maturity.

In the glass, it reveals itself as a mature red wine with dark fruit, cassis, and black cherry. These are complemented by notes of cedar, tobacco, graphite, and fine earth. On the palate, it is dense and balanced. Mature tannins provide structure, while the fresh acidity adds tension. The long finish combines fruit, spice, and mineral nuances. This Mouton Rothschild is for you if you are looking for classic Bordeaux wines with depth and aristocratic style.

Serve the red wine slightly cool and give it some time in the glass before enjoying. It pairs as harmoniously with roasted leg of lamb, beef fillet, and braised beef as it does with game dishes served with a rich sauce. Aged hard cheese also pairs excellently with its spicy, multifaceted character. This makes the 1995 a fitting centerpiece for a festive dinner.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
