    This 2019 Pomerol embodies the elegance and structure that distinguish the Clos de la Vieille Eglise estate. Located on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, the winery focuses on a meticulous selection of its grapes to produce wines with depth and complexity. The 2019 vintage benefited from ideal weather conditions, leading to fully ripe fruit and a pronounced tannin structure. The wine displays a deep garnet red with subtle violet reflections. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of dark berry fruit, plums, and an elegant minerality, underscored by fine notes of graphite and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is powerful with velvety tannins, where ripe red fruits, blueberries, and subtle oak spice play in harmony. The precise acidity ensures balance and a spicy, persistent finish.

    The 2019 Pomerol is currently in an excellent drinking phase and will continue to evolve until at least 2032 if stored correctly. Its optimal maturity extends from 2024 to 2031, with the wine expected to gain even more elegance in the coming years. This wine pairs beautifully with braised beef, lamb, and game dishes. It also complements aged cheeses or mushroom risotto with great delight.

    Shipping information

    Unless otherwise specified, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 5–8 business days within Germany and approximately 5–10 business days within the EU.

    For logistical reasons, we ship once a week, on Tuesdays.

    We pack the wines in UPS-certified shipping cartons in accordance with UPS packaging guidelines.

    Please note that in the event of extreme temperatures that could compromise wine quality, we will only ship the wines at your express request; otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipping is possible.
    Returns & Revocation

    Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.

A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
