Comm. GB Burlotto Barolo Acclivi DOCG 2017 is an outstanding example of the renowned Burlotto winery, which is prized for its precise craftsmanship and consistent quality. The 2017 vintage is characterized by a harmonious balance between fruit, tannins, and structure, making this Barolo a true gem of the Piedmont region. The Burlotto winery, with its long history and deep ties to the region, produces wines that impress with both complexity and elegance. This product is an excellent choice for lovers of sophisticated red wines seeking something special.

The tasting note reveals an intense aroma of ripe cherries, violets, and spicy notes, accompanied by subtle nuances of tobacco and leather. On the palate, the Barolo is full-bodied, with elegant tannins and a long, aromatic finish. Its optimal drinking maturity is approximately between 2022 and 2032, making it an ideal accompaniment to festive occasions or special meals. This vintage will gain further complexity and unfold its full expressive potential with proper aging.

This Barolo is recommended with opulent dishes such as beef fillet, game, or mature hard cheeses. For the best tasting experience, we recommend serving the wine at 16-18°C. Convince yourself of the quality of this exceptional wine and treat yourself to an unforgettable tasting experience!

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
