Comm. GB Burlotto Barolo Cannubi DOCG 2018

The Comm. GB Burlotto Barolo Cannubi DOCG 2018 is an exceptional representative of the prestigious Barolo region in the heart of Piedmont. This winery is known for its artisanal tradition and ability to create complex and elegant wines from the finest vineyards. The 2018 vintage is characterized by a harmonious balance between fruit, tannin, and acidity, making this Barolo a truly special treat. The winemaking process is meticulous to preserve the typical aromas and depth of the terroir.

The tasting notes reveal a complex bouquet of ripe cherries, dried roses, delicate spice notes, and a hint of earth. On the palate, the wine is full, velvety, and elegant, with a pleasant structure that invites reflection. Optimal drinking maturity is between 2024 and 2032, allowing the wine to develop its full potential. For a perfect tasting experience, we recommend pairing it with aged Parmesan cheese, game dishes, or truffle dishes, which perfectly complement the complex flavors of this wine.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
