Dom Pérignon Rosé Millésime 2002 brings the distinctive tension of an aged rosé champagne to the glass. The 2002 vintage combines the heritage of the House of Dom Pérignon with the distinctive evolution of an older Millésime. As a rosé champagne, it is aimed at connoisseurs seeking more than fresh fruit and straightforward elegance.

In the glass, it reveals an expressive, mature style with fine perlage. Aromas of red berries, ripe citrus fruits and subtle spice notes meet mineral undertones. With increasing exposure to air, the fruit notes become rounder and the structure more harmonious. The finish remains long, precise and supported by a pleasant freshness. This makes this champagne particularly suitable for a festive reception or a special evening for two.

Serve the Dom Pérignon Rosé Millésime 2002 well chilled, but not too cold. Its complexity pairs perfectly with roasted salmon, sashimi-grade tuna or poultry with a dark jus. It also offers an exciting contrast with aged hard cheese. Due to its mature vintage, today the immediate enjoyment experience is primarily the focus.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
