Dr. Bürklin-Wolf Pechstein 2019 brings the characteristic depth of one of the Palatinate's most renowned Riesling vineyards to the glass. The wine comes from the Forster Pechstein vineyard, whose volcanic basalt soils provide tension, mineral spice, and a distinctive structure. Dr. Bürklin-Wolf is one of the defining wineries of Mittelhaardt and cultivates its vineyards according to biodynamic principles. The 2019 vintage combines ripe fruit with the cool precision that keeps this top-tier wine balanced even in a more powerful year.
On the palate, the dry Riesling reveals itself as concentrated and multifaceted. Aromas of yellow apple, ripe citrus fruit, and peach meet smoky minerality, fine herbal spice, and a long, clear finish. On the palate, the Pechstein feels dense, juicy, and at the same time taut. Its well-integrated acidity lends it freshness, while the mineral depth ensures a long-lasting finish. The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf Pechstein 2019 is expected to reach its optimal drinking maturity between approximately 2025 and 2038. Serve it slightly chilled and give it some time in the glass. Shipping information
Unless otherwise specified, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 5–8 business days within Germany and approximately 5–10 business days within the EU.
For logistical reasons, we ship once a week, on Tuesdays.
We pack the wines in UPS-certified shipping cartons in accordance with UPS packaging guidelines.
Please note that in the event of extreme temperatures that could compromise wine quality, we will only ship the wines at your express request; otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipping is possible.
Returns & Revocation
Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.
You must organize the return shipment yourself and also cover the return shipping costs and adequate shipping insurance.
