    Emilio Moro Malleolus 2016

The Emilio Moro Malleolus 2016 is an outstanding red wine from the renowned Emilio Moro winery, known for its excellent wines in the Ribera del Duero region. The 2016 vintage impresses with its balance between powerful fruit and elegant complexity, making this wine a truly special treat. The winery places particular emphasis on traditional farming methods and sustainable cultivation, which is reflected in the quality and authenticity of this wine.

The tasting reveals an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits combined with subtle notes of spices and vanilla. The palate displays a velvety texture, supported by well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness. The Malleolus 2016 is a wine that will reach drinking maturity around 2022 and will continue to develop its full potential for several years. For the best tasting experience, we recommend serving this wine with hearty dishes such as beef fillet or lamb, which perfectly complement its depth and complexity.

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
