The 2015 Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Grosses Gewächs is an outstanding Riesling from one of the most renowned wineries on the Mosel. The Fritz Haag winery is known for its masterful Riesling production, which impresses with precision, terroir character, and an elegant balance between fruit and minerality. The 2015 vintage was characterized by ideal weather conditions, lending this wine exceptional complexity and depth.

The tasting reveals intense, vibrant fruit with notes of ripe apricots, lemon zest, and a hint of mineral freshness. The wine displays an elegant acidity structure that keeps the flavor fresh and vibrant, while a fine minerality unfolds on the palate. Its remarkable balance makes it a wine that can develop its full potential over several years, with optimal drinking maturity around 2023 to 2030. A true highlight for lovers of high-quality Rieslings, its complexity captivates.

This exceptional Riesling wine pairs perfectly with Asian dishes, seafood, or lightly spicy dishes. It's the ideal choice for special occasions or to crown the moment with an exquisite wine. Grab a bottle and enjoy the complexity of this Mosel classic—a pleasure that will be remembered for a long time!

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
