Garmon Continental Garmon 2017 is a red wine from Spain's renowned Ribera del Duero region. This wine combines the tradition of viticulture with modern expertise and displays the characteristic depth that distinguishes this region. The 2017 vintage benefited from ideal conditions and brings out the typical profile of the Ribera del Duero.

On the nose, the wine presents itself with pronounced fruit aromas and subtle hints of oak. On the palate, it convinces with a structured tannic presence and a sufficiently concentrated body that conveys weight without heaviness. The balance between fruit and structure makes this wine both immediately accessible and interesting for short to medium-term storage.

The 2017 is ideal with hearty meat dishes, grilled lamb, or Spanish cheeses. Enjoy it at about 16-18 degrees Celsius to experience its full range of aromas. The 750 ml bottle with 14.5% alcohol content is perfect for a social evening or as an accompaniment to a sophisticated meal.

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
