    Podere Grattamacco Grattamaco Bolgheri Superiore 2020 is one of Tuscany's flagship wines, reflecting the precise work of the Graffer family, who have significantly shaped the estate since the 1970s. The cuvée blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, cultivated on calcareous clay soils in Maremma. The wine's special characteristic lies in the harmonious symbiosis of the Mediterranean sun and cool sea breezes, combined with several years of aging in French oak barrels, which creates structure without heaviness. The 2020 vintage offers high extract density with a fresh acidity due to consistent rainfall and warm growing seasons.

    This composition clearly highlights the terroir of southern Tuscany and impresses with elegant harmony. In tasting, dominant aromas of sweet woodruff, blackcurrant liqueur, and dried herbs emerge, flanked by a fine smoky note and noble oak. The mouthfeel is cohesive yet supple, with impeccably integrated tannins and a long, warm finish. The wine will be ready to drink from 2027 and will last until approximately 2042. It is recommended to pair it with richly spiced venison skewers, smoked salmon, or mature Gouda.
