    Tenuta Argentiera Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore 2019 captures the distinctive character of the Tuscan coast in a glass. This red wine comes from Bolgheri, a region renowned for powerful, long-lived cuvées made from international grape varieties. Tenuta Argentiera is located in the southern part of the appellation, close to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its maritime setting shapes the wine with ripe fruit, spicy depth, and a pleasantly cool tension. The 2019 vintage is considered well-balanced, combining concentration with freshness.

    The nose reveals blackcurrant, dark plum, and ripe forest berries, accompanied by cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice notes. On the palate, the Argentiera is dense and structured. Juicy fruit meets prominent, well-integrated tannins. A mineral nuance and fresh acidity give the finish length. The oak aging enhances the aromatic depth without overshadowing the wine's origin. Feel free to open the bottle a little early or give the wine time in a decanter.

    This Bolgheri Superiore will reach its optimal drinking maturity from approximately 2025 to 2035. It is particularly harmonious with grilled beef steak, braised oxtail, or game dishes with a rich sauce. It also reveals its spicy, Mediterranean side when paired with aged Pecorino.

    Unless otherwise specified, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 5–8 business days within Germany and approximately 5–10 business days within the EU.

    For logistical reasons, we ship once a week, on Tuesdays.

    We pack the wines in UPS-certified shipping cartons in accordance with UPS packaging guidelines.

    Please note that in the event of extreme temperatures that could compromise wine quality, we will only ship the wines at your express request; otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipping is possible.
    Returns & Revocation

    Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.

A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
