Tokaji Aszu 3 Puttonyos Vinum Regum Res Vinorum 1993 is an outstanding sweet wine from the renowned Tokaj wine region in Hungary. This vintage impresses with its exceptional balance between sweetness and freshness and reflects the winery's decades of artisanal tradition. The Vinum Regum Res Vinorum winery is known for its careful grape selection and traditional aging, which gives this Tokaji its complex structure. The 1993 vintage offers perfect ripeness, making the wine a fascinating experience.

The tasting note reveals aromas of dried apricots, honey, and a delicate spice, accompanied by elegant acidity that makes the finish long and harmonious. This Tokaji is ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate wines with depth and history. Its optimal drinking age is within the next few years, during which time it will continue to gain complexity. This wine is recommended with fine pâtés, desserts with orange zest, or spicy cheeses to fully showcase its multifaceted aromas.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
