Weingut Keller G-Max 2012 is a 2012 vintage wine from Weingut Keller that reflects the winery's signature style in a concentrated form. A special feature of this wine is the designation G-Max, which signals a particular stylistic direction within the winery and indicates a focused ripeness development. The 2012 vintage gives the wine a balance of freshness and depth, while structure and potential continue to unfold after the first glass. The wine is suitable for collectors and connoisseurs looking for a characterful expression from an established winery. Tasting note: In the glass, the G-Max 2012 shows a bright, clear color, accompanied by intense fruit and fine minerality. On the palate, it is compact yet elegant, with focused acidity, a present substance, and a long, harmonious finish. These characteristics reflect the wine's clear, precise alignment and make it an exemplary representative of Keller wines. Food pairing recommendation: This wine pairs well with rich dishes such as beef fillet, braised roast, or aged cheese.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
