Weingut Robert Weil Kiedrich Gräfenberg Auslese 2000 Half Bottle offers you a special sweet wine for enjoyable, quiet moments. The 2000 vintage combines the Kiedrich Gräfenberg provenance with the Auslese predicate and the renowned Robert Weil estate. The small bottle is particularly suitable when you want to open a mature wine for two without having to pour a large quantity. As a noble sweet specialty, it is as well-suited to a festive meal as it is to a special evening after dinner.

In the glass, it reveals a mature Auslese with concentrated sweetness and distinct aromatic depth. Fruity notes meet the complex maturity of an older vintage. On the palate, the wine appears opulent and balanced, with a long finish and a pleasant equilibrium between sweetness and freshness. The Kiedrich Gräfenberg stands for a characterful origin, while Robert Weil is one of the definitive names of the Rheingau. Furthermore, the 2000 vintage makes this half bottle a charming choice for lovers of mature German sweet wines.

Serve the wine slightly chilled with fine foie gras, bold blue cheese, or an aromatic cheese selection. It also provides a harmonious conclusion to desserts featuring apple, pear, or caramelized nuts. It is particularly lovely when accompanying a festive meal where the final course is consciously savored slowly.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
