Weingut Robert Weil Kiedrich Gräfenberg Beerenauslese 2003 Half Bottle is a sweet wine for special moments and intimate, stylish gatherings. This half bottle is particularly well-suited for when you wish to enjoy a concentrated rarity without having to open a full-sized bottle. The 2003 vintage lends this wine an added historical character. Its origin in the Kiedrich Gräfenberg vineyard and the renowned Robert Weil estate make it an exciting choice for collectors and enthusiasts of aged sweet wines.

In tasting, the Beerenauslese proves as sweet, dense, and expressive as expected. Its mature style combines richness with a long, impressive presence on the palate. The wine invites you to enjoy it slowly, in small sips. Serve it well-chilled, either as a special finale to a meal or for a festive occasion. This Beerenauslese pairs particularly harmoniously with blue cheese, foie gras, or a finely curated selection of cheeses. It also offers a delightful combination with desserts featuring apricot, peach, or caramelized fruits. The half bottle is also ideal for an elegant dinner for two.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
