The Sattlerhof Gamlitz Kranachberg Sauvignon Blanc Große Lage 2011 is an exceptional Sauvignon Blanc from one of the most prestigious vineyards in Southern Styria. The Sattlerhof winery is known for its meticulous winemaking and commitment to quality and terroir. The 2011 vintage is characterized by an elegant balance between freshness and complexity, making this wine a special choice. This Sauvignon Blanc presents itself with a vibrant, radiant color and an intense fruity bouquet. The special feature of this wine lies in its mineral note, typical of the Große Lage Kranachberg, as well as the harmonious interplay of fruit and acidity.

This wine is ideal for drinking between 2013 and 2018 to develop its full complexity. An ideal accompaniment to grilled fish, seafood, or Asian cuisine. LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
