Tement Zieregg Ried 2015 Magnum is a magnum edition from this winery, showcasing the 2015 vintage from Ried Zieregg. The magnum-sized bottle allows for excellent aging and creates a special drinking experience, ideal for collectors and lovers of great white wines. The label refers to a specific vineyard, confirming the clear origin of this product. For those seeking a wine with long-term aging potential, this is a suitable option.

Tasting Note: In the glass, the wine displays a concentrated structure with ripe tension, supported by fine minerality and elegant freshness. The aromas remain clear and complex, with a long and compact finish. The magnum format supports the pace of development and offers a roundness that gains in intensity with age. Overall, the wine appears harmoniously balanced, even though it can still benefit from a few more years of aging.

Food Pairing Recommendation: This accompaniment complements creamy risottos, pan-fried seafood, and fine cheeses – ideal for special evenings or wine tastings with a larger group.

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
