The 2020 vintage gives the wine an expressive balance of cool freshness, concentrated fruit, and delicate minerality. The structure is clearly defined, the varietal purity remains clearly in the foreground, while the wine shows scope for further development in the glass. A special feature of the winery is its clear focus on the Riesling grape variety and a concise, focused winemaking approach, which is reflected in the Grosses Gewächs. Tasting notes: On the nose, it displays cool fruit accents such as lime and apple, accompanied by a delicate mineral note. On the palate, it is focused and juicy, with a clean and well-balanced structure; the balance of fruit, acidity, and minerality gives it elegance. The finish is long, with a clear, dry aftertaste that still leaves room for further development.     Shipping information

    Unless otherwise specified, we ship our wines via UPS. Standard delivery time is approximately 5–8 business days within Germany and approximately 5–10 business days within the EU.

    For logistical reasons, we ship once a week, on Tuesdays.

    We pack the wines in UPS-certified shipping cartons in accordance with UPS packaging guidelines.

    Please note that in the event of extreme temperatures that could compromise wine quality, we will only ship the wines at your express request; otherwise, we will store your purchased wines free of charge until safe shipping is possible.
    Returns & Revocation

    Of course, we accept returns within the scope of legal regulations. Provided the goods are in exactly the same condition as purchased, we will refund the full purchase price, excluding shipping costs, if returned within 14 days of receipt.

    Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    UV-LIGHT TESTING

    Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.
    THE DETAILS MATTER

    LABELS & PRINTING

    We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.
    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

    THE CONTENT

    Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
