Avignonesi Avignonesi Grifi Toscana 2018 is an exceptional red wine from the renowned Tuscan winery Avignonesi, known for its passion and excellent winemaking. The 2018 vintage offers a perfect balance between fruit, structure, and elegance, making this wine a truly special treat. The winery has relied on sustainable farming and innovative techniques for years to optimally preserve the region's unique characteristics.

The wine impresses with its deep ruby red color and an intense nose with aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries, and a hint of spice. On the palate, its complexity is revealed by velvety tannins, pleasant freshness, and long-lasting fruit flavors. This wine is an expression of the Tuscan landscape and craftsmanship, ideal for connoisseurs seeking something special.

The optimal drinking age is between 2021 and 2024, allowing the diverse flavor components to fully develop. An excellent food pairing is with Mediterranean dishes, grilled meats, or aged cheeses. Treat yourself to a true piece of Tuscany and enjoy this wine on a special occasion or as a companion to an enjoyable evening.

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
