Chateau d'Angludet 1996 is an outstanding Bordeaux from the renowned Château d'Angludet winery, known for its elegant balance and impressive longevity. The 1996 vintage presents itself in an intense garnet red, which already hints at its complex structure and depth. This wine combines typical Margaux elegance with a powerful fruit palette revealing notes of ripe plum, cassis, fine cedar wood, and subtle hints of leather. The winery is distinguished by its meticulous vinification, which imparts remarkable delicacy and finesse to the wine, making it a special choice for wine connoisseurs.

At tasting, the Chateau d'Angludet 1996 reveals itself to be powerful and harmonious, with a pleasant roundness and a soft tannin base. Its distinctive elegance and complexity make it ideal with braised dishes, lamb buffets, or herb-crusted beef. This wine is in a very good drinking phase, which will continue for several years. For lovers of fine wine, now is the perfect time to enjoy this wine. We recommend hearty meat dishes as a perfect accompaniment, which optimally enhances and rounds out the complex flavors.

    LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

    HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

    THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

    COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
