Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino 2012 is an outstanding wine from the renowned Il Marroneto winery, known for its excellent Brunellos. The 2012 vintage is distinguished by its exceptional balance and depth, achieved through careful aging in traditional wooden barrels. This winery sets standards in Tuscany by producing authentic and elegant wines that perfectly reflect the terroir. The 2012 Brunello impresses with its complex aromas and brilliant structure, making it a special treat. For wine lovers seeking something special, this vintage showcases a harmonious combination of fruit, spice, and fine tannins.

The tasting reveals an intense bouquet of ripe cherries, plums, and a hint of spice, complemented by subtle hints of leather and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with silky tannins and an elegant freshness, indicating excellent ageing potential. Optimal drinking maturity is expected between 2024 and 2032, making it an ideal companion for special occasions. For an unforgettable tasting experience, we recommend serving this Brunello with aged beef, game dishes, or mature cheese. Discover the essence of Tuscan winemaking with this wine and treat yourself to a true highlight!

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
