Julian Haart Ohligsberg Spätlese * 2022 is an outstanding German Riesling from the renowned Julian Haart winery in the Mosel region. This vintage is characterized by a special freshness and elegance that perfectly reflects the typical mineral notes of the terroir. The Julian Haart winery is known for its meticulous vineyard management and sustainable farming methods, which significantly shape the character of each bottle.

Tasting the 2022 vintage reveals vibrant fruit notes with aromas of green apple, citrus, and a hint of peach. On the palate, the Spätlese is wonderfully balanced, with a pleasant sweetness supported by a fresh acidity. This wine quality is ideal for drinking well into the coming years, although the best vintages often offer even longer. For those seeking a wine that is both fresh and complex, this Riesling is the perfect choice.

An ideal accompaniment to Asian dishes, seafood, or spicy cheese platters. Treat yourself to a glass of this special wine and experience the typical characteristics of Mosel Riesling in all its glory. Discover it now and enjoy the harmony of fruit, minerality, and elegance!

LIFE BEFORE...

Where possible, and especially with larger wine cellar purchases, the wine cellars of the previous owners tell us a lot about the storage conditions of the wines. A professionally managed wine cellar usually guarantees perfect storage conditions for the wines. We acquire our wines exclusively from reputable, mostly private wine collectors.

HIDDEN FEATURES

Many high-quality wines today feature various security features for authentication, such as markings that only become visible under UV light. We check and compare all purchased wines for these features using an extensive database, and if there is even the slightest doubt, we reject the wine.

THE DETAILS MATTER

We examine wine labels under a microscope to determine their quality, and we check the printed image for any peculiarities that are typical for a particular winery, wine, or vintage. We draw on a large image database to identify any anomalies.

COLOR MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Last but not least, we also examine the wine's composition. Color, turbidity, sediment, and the bubbles in a champagne reveal a lot about the wine's or champagne's condition and potential drinking pleasure.
